Responsible Gambling Affiliate Association Established in the US

By Daniela Rose

A new player has officially joined the playing field to promote responsible gambling practices in the United States – the Responsible Gambling Affiliate Association (RGAA).

The Association, founded on November 8th, 2023, is getting ready to make waves in the online casinos industry, with an aim centred on responsible gambling and a commitment to guaranteeing a safe and entertaining environment for players.

The RGAA currently has a solid lineup of founding affiliates, while the selection of a president has yet to be confirmed. Read on to discover how the founding affiliates will be vital in shaping the Association’s policies and goals.

The New Association is Based on Five Pillars

The RGAA is on a mission to encourage responsible gambling practices in the United States’ fast-developing iGaming industry. With the legalization of low-deposit casinos in certain states, the need for a unified approach to responsible gambling is more visible than ever.

The Group intends to target online casino operators and their affiliate partners, recognizing the critical role that affiliates play in driving player traffic. The RGAA aspires to develop a complete network focusing on player well-being and ethical business practices by integrating both operators and affiliates.

The five pillars upon which the RGAA is built each symbolize a crucial facet of responsible gambling:

  1. Competitive Gambling Markets – Emphasizing the need for open and competitive markets to ensure players have access to various modern online gambling options.
  2. Industry Education – Through developing an impending slate of efforts to increase visibility and recognition within the gambling industry.
  3. Player Protection – Directing users to their locally licensed and regulated options, enabling product innovation, higher customer service standards, and a better overall experience.
  4. Advertising Codes of Conduct – Ensuring ethical advertising and marketing practices that reduce problem gambling.
  5. Responsible Gambling Practices – Built on dedication, astute campaigns, and a genuine sense of responsibility to both the industry and the players.

The Association is currently in the process of selecting a permanent President to serve as the organization’s figurehead and play a pivotal role in shaping the future of responsible affiliate practices, advocating for its members’ needs and interests, fostering relationships with industry stakeholders, and advocating for the highest standards of integrity.
